How to use the email template function on Assess Accredited

Learn how to update your email templates to personalise the message to your candidates

Editing email templates:

  • From the top left drop-down menu, navigate to 'Settings'
  • On the left, click 'email templates', and go to 'email templates manager'
  • On the right, you will see a page with assessment icon options where you can choose which assessment email template you would like to edit. Click 'continue' to proceed.
  • Select the email template you would like to edit. Click 'clone' to create a version you can safely customise without altering the original template.
  • Give your new template a clear and useful name in the 'name' field, to help you quickly identify the right template when sending assessments to candidates.
  • Customise your email template. Do not edit any of the yellow highlighted sections. You can also update the font and formatting to suit your tone or brand. Consider adding:
    • A deadline for completing the assessment

    • A reference to the role the candidate has applied for

    • A short, friendly introduction

  •  Make sure the 'Active' checkbox is ticked. Tick 'Default' if you want this to be used automatically for future assessments. When you are done editing, click on 'save email template'.
  • Your saved templates will appear when you are on the 'edit emails before sending' screen. If you have marked one as the default, it will be automatically selected.

Match email templates to your branding

  •  In the 'email style manager' section, you can:
    • Adjust the colour scheme of emails to match your company branding

    • Upload your company logo

Please note: The Thomas logo will still appear opposite your logo in candidate emails.
