How to manage user permissions in Thomas Assess?

Roles & Profiles support three permission levels that control access to specific features, functions, and data.

These three permission levels ensure users have the necessary access to perform their tasks.: 

  1. Owner (There can only be one Owner per account) 

  2. Admin 

  3. Viewer

The following actions are available to each permission level in Thomas:

Account Owner

The Owner is established during the Thomas platform signup process. The account creator is automatically assigned as the Owner and has the authority to update billing information.

 

Managing Users:

Inviting:
Users can be invited by following the steps below : 
  • Click the "Settings" menu item 

  • Click the "Users" menu item 

  • Click on "Add Users"

  • Add the email addresses of the people you want to invite 

  • Select the permission level 

  • Click "Send invites"


Viewing:

To view your organisation's users, click on your initials in the top right corner and select "Settings" from the drop-down menu. Then select the "Users" tab.  

You will be able to view the names of all users along with their permission levels.

Note: Users who have not yet accepted an invitation to your organisation will appear as pending. You can remove or resend the invitation by selecting the ellipsis and choosing the action you want to take.


Permission Levels:

To manage the permission levels of existing users: 

  • Click the "Settings" menu item 
  • Click the "Users" menu item
  • Select a new permission level by selecting the ellipsis next to the user 

Tip: To find a specific user, use the dropdown or search function.
