What is the difference between IQ and EQ?

Emotional Intelligence (EQ) is a term often confused with the Intelligence Quotient (IQ)

  • IQ measures cognitive intelligence such as problem-solving and reasoning.

  • EQ is about managing emotions and relationships.

Success at work often requires both. IQ gets your foot in the door, however EQ helps you lead, grow, and collaborate effectively.
