Interpreting your Connection insights

The Connection measure helps individuals, teams, and organisations understand how supported, valued, and engaged people feel at work. Assessing six key dimensions of connection provides clear insights that strengthen relationships, improve collaboration, and build healthier workplace cultures.

Viewing your own Connection insights:

After completing the measure, you can view your Connection insights immediately. Simply navigate to ‘My profile’ from the left-hand menu and select the ‘Connection’ tab.

  • Use the colour indicators to explore your scores for each dimension - Green (high), Yellow (moderate), Orange (low)
  • View your Connection habit suggestions tailored to each dimension and score

What low or moderate scores mean

These scores simply highlight areas where you are likely feeling less connected. These can be seen as starting points for setting small, impactful goals to improve your sense of connection.

Why scores may vary over time

Connection levels can differ between teams or change over time due to team dynamics, communication styles, leadership and culture shifts, and organisational or role changes.

Using your Connection habits

Focus on habits that match your goals and your work environment. The THOMAS criteria can be used to help guide your choices. Identify habits that are:

  • Time-bound: Can be implemented quickly
  • Harmonious: Fits into current routines
  • Obtainable: Realistic and achievable
  • Measurable: Progress can be tracked
  • At present: Can start right away
  • Specific: Clear and well-defined
